Handbuilt from NZ red clay with a crackled texture, reminiscent of the weathered, rocky cliffs of Piha, eroded by the wild waves and wind over time.
Includes Wilde’s signature iron-rich black sand glaze. This glittery sand is commonly found along the west coast of New Zealand and is a mixture of titanium and iron called titanomagnetite, originating from Mount Taranaki and swept up the coast as far as North Cape.
