Earthenware pit-fired NZ red clay vessel.
Medium Size: 10×12cm
This decorative vase is suitable for dried, singular flowers only.
Inspired by Aotearoa New Zealand’s natural forest landscapes. The colours and patterns are produced at random in a primitive pit-fire process and finished with silver imprints of real leaf skeletons.
Resulting colours: black, brown and blush pink from organic garden waste, coffee grounds, copper scrap wire and recycled paper with a matte white underglazed section.
Each piece in this series is handbuilt and original in shape and finish.
